Passing impressive rock formations and crossing the marvellous scenic path with wide views of the rocky landscape of Franconian Switzerland, we soon reach the idyllic little rocky town Pottenstein typical of its half-timbered houses. Our trip continues up the Long Hill to the highland of Siegmannsbrunn. Just behind the village, the road meanders through a long forest, past an old wayside cross situated on a clearing in the dry valley.
